This web page intends to help to compare English translations of important Buddhist texts from Tibetan. While the varity of translations can be quite confusing at times - in particular for us who don't understand Tibetan - the hope is that this web page helps us to see also the richness of having different translations available. Of course it is needless to say that receiving oral teachings on these texts is essential to gain deeper understanding of these gems. Nevertheless it feels to me that having various translations available is a great asset when receiving teachings on such texts.
